Terms and Conditions
All references to “Revive & Thrive” herein refers to Revive & Thrive and/or Sharanya Vijayakumar. By making payment of this invoice, I agree to the following terms and conditions:
(1) I shall follow safe sleeping practices suggested/recommended by the AAP (American Academy of Paediatrics), and in any event, I will not hold Revive & Thrive liable or responsible at all in relation to any departure made from any of such practices.
(2)I shall check with my child’s paediatrician if there is any medical condition preventing him/her from being sleep taught safely.
(3)I shall disclose any medical condition which my baby has to Revive & Thrive in the Questionnaire provided.
(4)I shall pay the invoice prior to the preparation date and acknowledge that if the invoice hasn’t been paid that my customised sleep plan (“the sleep plan”) will not be written and service will not begin.
(5) Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to scheduled consult date will only be refunded 50% of the fee.
(6)I shall implement the sleep plan within 1 week of our consultation date. If not, a reactivation fee of $150 may apply for the re-evaluation and amendments to the sleep plan that might be needed. This is at the discretion of Revive & Thrive.
(7)I understand and agree that the sleep plan together with all other guidance (whether by email, messages or calls) provided by Revive & Thrive in relation to my child’s sleep (collectively referred to herein as “the recommended sleep solutions”), are meant for my child and I only. I will not (and am not entitled to) share and/or disclose any of the content of the recommended sleep solutions with anyone else, whether through social media, email or otherwise. I acknowledge that Revive & Thrive exclusively owns all intellectual property rights in relation to the recommended sleep solutions.
(8) I agree that any changes I make to my baby’s sleeping or eating arrangements are my decisions and Revive & Thrive only makes suggestions for change, of which I am responsible for choosing to implement.
(9) I understand that the support includes an unlimited number of messages/emails/scheduled phone calls during the working hours of Revive & Thrive. Revive & Thrive does not work on Singapore public holidays (unless otherwise stated) or Sundays. Working hours: 9 am to 9pm from Monday to Thursday; and 9am to 5pm on Friday. I do not work on weekends. Any query received outside of these hours will be answered on the next work day. It can be expected that messages/emails will be checked at (and responded to accordingly) approximately 9am, 11.30am, from Monday to Friday;
(10) I understand that I will be provided with a link to a Live Sleep Log to fill in daily, and that doing so will allow Revive & Thrive to have the context and information to advise and troubleshoot effectively where need be.
(11) I understand that if Revive & Thrive does not hear from me for a period of time, or if I miss a pre-arranged call/meeting time, it will assume that all is going well and no support is required.
(12) I acknowledge that, in general, everyone involved with my child’s sleep ought to follow the recommended sleep solutions (mum, dad, grandparents, helpers and/or nannies). This is because inconsistency is likely to set back the progress seen in my child’s sleep.
Disclaimer and Waiver:
(a) I acknowledge that Revive & Thrive’s advice is NOT intended to be a substitute for medical advice or treatment. I will always seek the advice of my doctor or other health practitioner regarding any matters that may require medical attention or diagnosis, and before following the recommended sleep solutions.
(b) I acknowledge that reliance on the recommended sleep solutions is solely at my own risk. Revive & Thrive does not make any guarantees, representations or warranties, express or implied, in relation to the consulting services provided. Revive & Thrive liability (if any) is limited to the consulting fee paid by me Revive & Thrive, and in no event will Revive & Thrive be liable to me for any other claim, losses or damages.
(c) For avoidance of doubt, I will not hold Revive & Thrive liable or responsible (in any way or to any extent) in relation to any departure I make from any of the safe sleep practices referred to in clause (1) above. No liability is assumed by Revive & Thrive in this regard.
(d) I acknowledge that whilst Revive & Thrive endeavours to help me get my child sleeping independently and well in the night, and napping well (where applicable), it cannot guarantee that the recommended sleep solutions will work for all children. I understand that the level of success for my child to be sleeping successfully is significantly enhanced by following the recommended sleep solutions constructed for my child by Revive & Thrive. Not following these, or only selecting only components of these to follow, will reduce the likelihood that my child will be successfully sleeping. Similarly, I understand that in a family environment it is crucial that all family members involved with my child’s sleep follow the sleep plan (mum, dad, grandparents, helpers and/or nannies etc).
Performance Agreement
- EFFORT: You have to show up for yourself 110% EVERYDAY, no matter what. Action is what will set you a part from everyone else. The harder you work for me, the harder I work for you. I am not a “hand-holder”, and I cannot be there for you every single time you have a setback. This is where you will learn to become self-accountable and self-sufficient. We want to focus on cultivating confidence, capability and independence. YOU are the HERO, and this is your journey. I am just the guide. Love yourself.
- ATTITUDE: I will under NO circumstances tolerate a negative attitude. This does not mean you aren’t allowed to be human (we all have bad days), but it does mean you are responsible for your own “checks and balances”. Keep things in a positive perspective, remember your “why”, and focus on your purpose. You can come to me with any issue as long as your intention is to work towards resolving it. Love yourself.
- HONESTY: I will never judge you as a client for any slip-ups, mistakes, poor decisions. Again, we are all humans. However, I need you to be as transparent as possible so I can track all details. There is no sense in me spending the time and effort creating a plan for you if you aren’t going to follow it, or, to have me trying to figure out what’s not working if the truth is you just haven’t been consistent. Love yourself.
- TRUST: This is so, so vital! You are going to be pushing through some major personal development and growth during this process. Everybody’s process is different. Let go of the resistance to figure out how this is all going to unfold and trust YOURSELF, MY EXPERTISE and the PROCESS. Just a side note, the hardest part of this program has already been completed by you taking that first step; and for that you should feel insanely proud of yourself! Take a deep breath, put your hand over your heart, and tell yourself “this is my time, I am supported, and I am now in a safe space to begin my journey.” Love yourself. I agree to give 110% commitment to this program, and because I am solely responsible for my progress, I understand that, NO refunds will be offered.
